Dar Seffarine
This is the place I stayed when I was in Fez this spring. I am usually not a big fan of communal eating and sharing things with fellow travellers but Dar Seffarine was a special place and I enjoyed chatting with other guests over breakfast and dinner there (and the home cooking was really delicious).
Dar Seffarine is a 600 years old house which was painstakingly restored by the current owners, an architect and his partner. It is very affordable and I was so amazed with the beauty of the rooms. The hotel also has a charming roof terrace where guests can enjoy the panoramic view of the medina.
